North Wales hol-ee-day part 1

We was only apposed to stay until Thursday, but we all loved it sooo much we stayed until Saturday. I asked Mum if I could live there and she says if she wins the lottery we can. I not know what the lottery is but I hopes we wins it anyway.

First of all I can definitely confirm that there be no whales in Wales. There does be lots of these guys though -

Sheeps! These ones beed living in the field just behind our cottage. Whenever I was near sheeps I just wanted to herd them all up so I had to be kept on my lead sometimes. There still be lots of places that I can go off my lead though. Our cottage had the bestest enclosed garden ever, plus it was in the middle of a huuuuge paddock and of course we had our very own private beach!

As well as sheeps there be some horses. A whole field of them infact. I met horses on my last hol-ee-day so I not beed ascared of them. One day, Mum beed stroking the horses and not really paying attentions to me, so while she wasn't watching I climbed up onto the wall and tried to give the horses fizzy kissies. Mum be too quick though and seed me and told me it was naughty and horses didn't really like kisses.

On Tuesday we wented to another beach. This be Mum's favourite ever beach. It be called Nefyn, and it has houses on it! The people that live there have to drive across the beach to get to there house, weird huh?! When Mum camed to Nefyn 3 years ago, she met a lovely Border Collie who was super-friendly and Mum wanted to take her home. Well, guess what, she was there again! I gots to meet her but she not beed very playful, she just wanted to herd me. Mum says she probably be getting old and not like annoying Fizzy puppies yap yap yapping at her :-) Mum didn't get a piccure of her but of course she made me pose for a photo on her favourite beach. I not mind though, as soon as Mum says 'ok' I runrunrun.

After I had got my zoomies out, we stopped for a picnic. Mum gave me a bit of her sandwich in exchange for posing!

When we gots home our "neighbours" came and said hello. The best thing about it was that they had 2 doggies! They be German Shepherds called Sadie and Toby. Toby wasn't really very playful but Sadie was super fun!

I spent most of my time chasing her up and down the fence and barking (of course!)

Part 2 be coming soon!

Bizzy Fizzy

Hurrrooo! I sorry that I has not blogged for sooo long, I beed really bizzy going for walks, playing in the garden, squeaking my toys in Mum's face all day long and doing crazycrazy barkings. Mum also beed a bit poordy so she not beed able to help me type the difficults words and stuff (I getting better now though cos I be 9 months old.. That be very growed up).

This might be the last post for a week or so though. Guess what's happening? I going on hol-ee-day agains! This time we be going to a place called Wales. When Mum first told me about Wales I got a bit ascared cos I thought there'd be whales there, but Mum assures me there be no whales in Wales. Confuzzling huh?
Anyway, Mum says the place where we're staying be very dog friendly, it has a private beach, paddocks for me to run around in, and sooo many walks. Oh and sheeps everywhere too. Yay! We not be going until Monday but I telling you now incase I don't gets a chance to blog again before then.

Anyway, onto catchings up! On Sunnyday it snowed again here. Mum got up to give me my breakfast and weewee times at 7am (then we goes back to bed for snuggles hehehe) and there was loaaads of snow. She beed very suprised cos the weatheryman had not forecast it. By the time we got up the 2nd time there be tonnes of it! So Mum said quick lets go out for walkies afore it all goes away.
(Clicky the piccures to biggify them and see them better)

This little bird came and sat on the fence while Mum be taking photos. He was eating some of those seedy things so Mum tooked his photo, she wanted him to come closer but he wouldn't cos I was doing very loud barkings :-) I just be trying to tell Mum that I doesn't like standing still and she should take photos of ME instead of silly birdies.

It a good job we went out early 'cos most of it had melted by the end of the day. We still had time to play ball in the garden quickly though. This be my new favourite game, Mum buyed a proper ball thrower thing so I can chase the ball, bring it back, and then I tug on the ball thrower as a reward for bringing the ball back, BOL! Mum says I gots the wrong end of the stick, but I not know what she means, cos it not look like a stick to me!

I be rather sleepy, but smiley, after all that :-)

Posing!

We went for another cool walk today. It be along a river with a big house at the end of it, but doggies not be allowed in their because there be lots of old things called antiques. I wonder if Mum be an antique, 'cos she be old compared to me, BOL!

Mum wanted to walk down to the bridge near the house and cross over onto the other side of the river and walk back that way, but there be lots of sheepys there so we had to turn around and walk back the same way. Sometimes when we turn around and walk back in the same direction we came from, I do runnings off! Because I knows that we be going back home, and if I runs off then Mum won't be able to catch me and then I'll just be able to stay out forever. But today, Mum had cheese so I couldn't possibly do runnings off! Cheese is too yummy to run away from, so I kept coming back all the time and being a really good boy. Staying with Mum isn't so bad after all, BOL!

Hopefully next time we go back there won't be any sheepys around and we'll be able to walk on the other side. There were other peoples walking that way but I'd just want to herd all the sheeps up and Mum says that I can get shot for doing that! Uh-oh! We did see some deer again though..

Pee ess... We gots a skateboard! Tricky T-day will be fun this week!

Award and walks!

We gots our very first ever award! We be very pleased and honoured to receive this award from Essex and Deacon at Key West Collies. Thanks so much Essex and Deacon!
The rules state that I has to state 10 things that make me happy and then pass it onto 10 of my pals. Here be my happy things:

1. FOOD! (Absolutely anything - I not be fussy)
2. Mum.. Because if it wasn't for Mum all my happy things wouldn't happen.
3. Walks... I likes food, so that means I has to have walks or I'd be fat! Haha, not that I mind, I love walks!
4. Toys.. I just can't express how much I loveeeess toys. Especially my tuggy!
5. Cuddles.. Especially with Mum at night times in her big comfy bed!
6. Trainings... Because trainings = food and tuggy.
7. Sniffing! This drives Mum mad but I just can't help it, if her nose was as good as mine she'd be doing it all the time too.
8. Hair brushings... You may be suprised to hear this, cos most doggies hate grooming, but I LOVE it! Especially when Mum does my tummy.
9. Other dogs... Especially ones that want to play chaseychasey with my.
10. Herding... Birds, people, other dogs, and even sheep if Mum would let me.. I just loves herding!!

Ok so now we going to pass it onto 10 friends.
1. Ludo
2. Ricky
3. Reilly
4. Khyra
5. Skye
6. Morgan & Maisie
7. Sheltie Beauties
8. Josh & Jessie
9. Mika & Wall-e
10. Hamish

Now onto today! Today we beed on yet another great walk. Mum was hoping to take me to the beach today but it beed snowing on and off all day so she took me to a place a bit closer to home. We still has to go on the big busy motorway road to get there but it be nearer than the beach. She promised to take me to the beach next week so I not gets upset.

I made lots of friends. I be becoming quite a sociable little fellow these days! The best kind of dogs are ones that do chaseychasey with me, I not like dogs that just want to sniff my face and bum very much, they just boring. This little dude was one of the chaseychasey kind though and we had loadddds of fun. Mum couldn't get a good photo cos we was running too fast hehe :-)

It turned out to be a very nice day with no more snow!

As you can see from the colour of my paws, I had beed for a paddle in the lake :-)

We even saw some of these guys! Mum says they be called Deers. Normally they stay away from peoples and dogs but Mum got a big shock when she turned around and there was one following us!! She had to quickly get me on my lead and go back to the car, cos she thought it might chase us. BOL!! I was not ascared, if it had chased us I would of definitely protected me and Mum. When we was back in the safety of our car (Mum is such a wimp BOL!) Mum managed to get a piccure of 2 of them running past.

Tricky T-day

Here be our next tricky t-day video, FINALLY!! It not even be proper trickys really, it actually agilities. I posted before we went on hol-ee-day about my new tunnel, now the weather be better we have had chance to do a little bit more outdoor training. As you can see from the video I realllly loves my tunnel!

The second half of the video be of me learning cik & cap. We did a very small amount of training on this when I was younger, not really cik & cap, just going round objects, so Mum be really suprised that I remembered it. So that be our first real cik & cap session. For now I just learning Cik around a toy box, but soon I'll start learning Cap as well, and then we'll start doing it around different objects, and eventually it'll be a real jump wing!

Enjoy!!

Hol-ee-day!

Hurrooo!
We is back, and I can confirms that hol-ee-days are the best things in the world, ever! I was sad that I had to come home because it was just so fun all the times. We stayed in a cottage in the middle of the countryside and there was walks and beaches everrrrrywhere!

The only little problem we had was that I held my pees and poops for over 24 hours! When I at home I always go in the garden, and I only ever does a weewee on a walk if I super-duper desperate and can't hold it at all anymore, usually I wait till I comes home and then does it there, I never ever done a poops on a walk before. So while we was on holidays I was really confuzzled, the cottage had an enclosed garden but how was I supposed to know that I was allowed too pee and poop there?! Eventually I had a peepee on a walk, but because I had a poorly tummy before we came on hol-ee-day Mum was worried about me holding my poopies for so long. Anyway, eventually on wednesday night I just casnot hold my poopies anymore and wented in the garden. I never seed Mum look so happy, so I figured I did the right thing!! I got the hang of it properly by Thursday. (Mum says that a bit late cos we comed home on friday anyway BOL!!)

There was a big paddock at the back of the cottage, these dudes live there:

I first they ascared me (especially the big guy!) and I barkbarked at them. But Mum explained to me that the little guys be SHETLAND ponies!! They like me! Can you believe it? We comes in pony types as well as dog types. I was brave and sniffsniffed them all and we made friends. By the end of the week I wanted to go and say hi whenever we went out. :-)

On the first day we wented to the beach! Woohoo, my favourite. This was probably the best beach I ever beed to, there were lots of rockpools to explore (the sea still scares me though cos those wavey things always try to chase me!) and lots of intesting things had beed washed up. I enjoyed picking up random shells and getting zoomies cos I be so proud of my 'find'. We walked as far as we could along the beach but the tide was coming in, so we wented up some realllly steep steps and walked along the cliff tops. Mum was ascared I'd be silly and try and climb down to the beach but I was a really good boy, and even posed for a photo.

The next day we didn't even go out in the car! The place where we stayed be perfect for doggies, because it surrounded by walks, and even a canal to walk along. Mum already wants to go back again because there be so much more to explore. We walked to the end of the big driveway and turned right, all of a sudden we be in the woods! I really wish we could live there (so does Mum!). A bit further down the path was a canal, it be really nice to walk down and see all the boats. We didn't walk too fars because it be reallllly windy and the childrens were getting cold. Mum took me to see my Shetland Pony friends again though so I didn't gets bored.

The next day was sooo fun. Mum did a stupids though and forgots her camera!! First we went to a little beach that very popular with dog walkers. I had good funs playing with a Curly Coated Retriever and a Basset Hound, a Labrador and some other little dogs. There was lots of other dogs around but their owners were grumpy bums and didn't let their dogs play with me (even though their dogs wanted to!). I glad my Mum not be like that, she says socialising be very important for dogs, and I agrees. I was a good boy while the grumpy bums walked past though, and sat by Mum's side and waited.

Once I had a good run around on the beach we wented into the town so the childrens could go in the arcades and everyone ate fish and chips. Mum gave me a sneaky few chips though, hehe. Doggies not be allowed in the arcades so Mum took me for a walk along the seafront. It has lots of strange loud noises and next to the road, but I was really good and didn't flinch once. Mum be so proud of me. As we were walking back Mum spotted something on the beach, she started making squeaky excited noises so I knew it be something good. Can you guess what it could be? It not really that exciting to 'normal' peoples, but for me and Mum it be really good! It was a lady with not one, not two, but THREE Shelties!! They all be tiny little Sables, one be the Mummy and the other two were her puppies. I got super excited and thought they were my dog-Mum, BOL! Mum wished she'd got her camera at that point.

The next day we had to go home :-( I really did not wants to and neither did Mum, so we said we'd go out for the day first and then go home. But that did nots go to plan, because just as we were setting off, it started to SNOW! I still wanted to go but Mum be a spoil-sport and said no. Hurrufff! I did my best barkings at her but she would not listen.

Mum says if I a good boy she might take me on another little holiday in a couple of months time. I going to be on my bestest behaviours from now on :-)
(Pee ess - all the photos should biggify... we hope. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't! Weird....)

Hol-ee-day!

Hurro!

Tomorrow I be going on my hol-ee-days! We be going to a nice cottage near the beach and lots of nice walkies so we be back on friday with lots cool piccures hopefully.

We sorry that tricky t-day be delayed AGAIN! I hads a poorly tummy since thursday (Mum thinks I ate some deer poops on the walk I posted about) so Mum stopped all my treats and I just had small meals of fish and rice, so we not really done any trainings, apart from a few tunnels in the garden cos I has my tuggy as a reward for that. Anyway, hopefully after hol-ee-days we will be back to normal :-)

Woofs!
