Crufts & Show thing!

I tolds you in my last post that Mum had beed to Crufts (without me!!). But I forgives her for not taking me 'cos she camed back with lots of goodies, all for me. Apart from spending lots of money on toys and sweeties for me, she watched lots of agility, obedience and met the Shelties on the Discover Dogs stand. Two of them turned out to be related to me in some random way! Most of the Shelties she saw were teeny tiny compared to me (I'm a biiiiiig Sheltie) but she did meet one called Sonny who was the same size as me. Sonny liked doing obedience and tricks like me!

Here's me with my Crufts goodies. I got some other stuffs too (including the bestest tuggy ball EVER, it be my special agility toy now) but Mum couldn't find everything. You can tell I beed tugging in thiss piccure cos my lips get stucked to me teefs. Hehe!

Mum also got this for free, it be called a frisbee but I likes to call it a FIZZbee.

Today I beed to a country show with Mum and the childrens. There be lots of dogs there, mostly gundogs cos there be lots of demonstrations and things. I beed a very good boy and wasn't even bothered by really loud gunshots. I met three other Shelties and lots of people wanted to do strokings of me. I even met ferrets!! I beed a bit ascared of these furry creatures at first but I decided they ok after lots of sniffings.

I changed a bit since the last time I wented to a show, don't you think?

Hol-ee-day part 2!

Sorry it tooked so long, we beed super bizzy. Mum beed to Crufts this week, I wasn't allowed to go though! I'll save that for a seperate blog though cos I gots lots of goodies to shows you.

Anyway, back onto my hol-ee-day adventures! The next day Mum wanted to go a very famous and big mountain called Snowdon. It be one of the biggest mountains in Great Britain so I be very excited when Mum said we be going up it! Butttt, it didn't go exactly to plan. Mum's idea was to go up to the summit on the railway and then walk back down, because it be too far for me to walk all the way up AND back down again. But when Mum looked on the tinternet before we left, she realised that doggies not be allowed on the train :-( She beed very upset and so did I. Maybe when I is older I'll be allowed to do the whole proper walk without the train.

I still had my photo taken on this rocky thing though, it just be a little carpark where you can take photos and learn which mountain is which. You can see part of Snowdon in the background, it be the snowy bit! (I had to keep my lead on 'cos it be right next to the road)

So instead we went to a place called Beddgelert. It be a pretty village with a river running through it, oh and there be sheeps too! Luckily there not be too many sheeps around the river.
There be quite a famous myth about Beddgelert which you can read about here.

Here I am posing next to the river! Mum bought me a squeaky ball from a shop in the village so I had fun chasing it in and out of the river. I went in right up to my belly! If it had been any deeper I would of probably had a bit of a swim :-)

When we got back we went down to our beach and I went expolording the rock pools. I found a fishy that had been washed up onto the beach and I wanted to take him home for my dinner but mum said noooo.

The next day we went on the bestest walk ever. We went to a huuuge big waterfall called Aber Falls. Altogether the walk be about 5 miles long, and we saw sheeps and lots of other interesting things along the way. Mum had beed there before when she be very young but she couldn't really remember it.
When we got to the top I has to go on my lead 'cos I wanted to go and paddle in the river below the falls but Mum says the current was too strong.

Obviously I still not be tired after a 5 mile walk so Mum let me go out onto the paddock to play with Sadie and Toby. Mum let me play with my ball for a while too, but then Sadie tooked it off me and burst it! That be my favourite bally so I was very upset with her. Mum says I gots plenty of other toys though so it not really matter.

Mum found a pet shop the next day and bought me a new bally which be identical to my other one that Sadie broked. I be one happy puppy. Yahooooo!

So that be it for my hol-ee-day. Mum wants to buy a house in Wales now, hehehe. I has no problem with that! :-)

North Wales hol-ee-day part 1

We was only apposed to stay until Thursday, but we all loved it sooo much we stayed until Saturday. I asked Mum if I could live there and she says if she wins the lottery we can. I not know what the lottery is but I hopes we wins it anyway.

First of all I can definitely confirm that there be no whales in Wales. There does be lots of these guys though -

Sheeps! These ones beed living in the field just behind our cottage. Whenever I was near sheeps I just wanted to herd them all up so I had to be kept on my lead sometimes. There still be lots of places that I can go off my lead though. Our cottage had the bestest enclosed garden ever, plus it was in the middle of a huuuuge paddock and of course we had our very own private beach!

As well as sheeps there be some horses. A whole field of them infact. I met horses on my last hol-ee-day so I not beed ascared of them. One day, Mum beed stroking the horses and not really paying attentions to me, so while she wasn't watching I climbed up onto the wall and tried to give the horses fizzy kissies. Mum be too quick though and seed me and told me it was naughty and horses didn't really like kisses.

On Tuesday we wented to another beach. This be Mum's favourite ever beach. It be called Nefyn, and it has houses on it! The people that live there have to drive across the beach to get to there house, weird huh?! When Mum camed to Nefyn 3 years ago, she met a lovely Border Collie who was super-friendly and Mum wanted to take her home. Well, guess what, she was there again! I gots to meet her but she not beed very playful, she just wanted to herd me. Mum says she probably be getting old and not like annoying Fizzy puppies yap yap yapping at her :-) Mum didn't get a piccure of her but of course she made me pose for a photo on her favourite beach. I not mind though, as soon as Mum says 'ok' I runrunrun.

After I had got my zoomies out, we stopped for a picnic. Mum gave me a bit of her sandwich in exchange for posing!

When we gots home our "neighbours" came and said hello. The best thing about it was that they had 2 doggies! They be German Shepherds called Sadie and Toby. Toby wasn't really very playful but Sadie was super fun!

I spent most of my time chasing her up and down the fence and barking (of course!)

Part 2 be coming soon!
