Hol-ee-day!

Hurrooo!
We is back, and I can confirms that hol-ee-days are the best things in the world, ever! I was sad that I had to come home because it was just so fun all the times. We stayed in a cottage in the middle of the countryside and there was walks and beaches everrrrrywhere!

The only little problem we had was that I held my pees and poops for over 24 hours! When I at home I always go in the garden, and I only ever does a weewee on a walk if I super-duper desperate and can't hold it at all anymore, usually I wait till I comes home and then does it there, I never ever done a poops on a walk before. So while we was on holidays I was really confuzzled, the cottage had an enclosed garden but how was I supposed to know that I was allowed too pee and poop there?! Eventually I had a peepee on a walk, but because I had a poorly tummy before we came on hol-ee-day Mum was worried about me holding my poopies for so long. Anyway, eventually on wednesday night I just casnot hold my poopies anymore and wented in the garden. I never seed Mum look so happy, so I figured I did the right thing!! I got the hang of it properly by Thursday. (Mum says that a bit late cos we comed home on friday anyway BOL!!)

There was a big paddock at the back of the cottage, these dudes live there:

I first they ascared me (especially the big guy!) and I barkbarked at them. But Mum explained to me that the little guys be SHETLAND ponies!! They like me! Can you believe it? We comes in pony types as well as dog types. I was brave and sniffsniffed them all and we made friends. By the end of the week I wanted to go and say hi whenever we went out. :-)

On the first day we wented to the beach! Woohoo, my favourite. This was probably the best beach I ever beed to, there were lots of rockpools to explore (the sea still scares me though cos those wavey things always try to chase me!) and lots of intesting things had beed washed up. I enjoyed picking up random shells and getting zoomies cos I be so proud of my 'find'. We walked as far as we could along the beach but the tide was coming in, so we wented up some realllly steep steps and walked along the cliff tops. Mum was ascared I'd be silly and try and climb down to the beach but I was a really good boy, and even posed for a photo.

The next day we didn't even go out in the car! The place where we stayed be perfect for doggies, because it surrounded by walks, and even a canal to walk along. Mum already wants to go back again because there be so much more to explore. We walked to the end of the big driveway and turned right, all of a sudden we be in the woods! I really wish we could live there (so does Mum!). A bit further down the path was a canal, it be really nice to walk down and see all the boats. We didn't walk too fars because it be reallllly windy and the childrens were getting cold. Mum took me to see my Shetland Pony friends again though so I didn't gets bored.

The next day was sooo fun. Mum did a stupids though and forgots her camera!! First we went to a little beach that very popular with dog walkers. I had good funs playing with a Curly Coated Retriever and a Basset Hound, a Labrador and some other little dogs. There was lots of other dogs around but their owners were grumpy bums and didn't let their dogs play with me (even though their dogs wanted to!). I glad my Mum not be like that, she says socialising be very important for dogs, and I agrees. I was a good boy while the grumpy bums walked past though, and sat by Mum's side and waited.

Once I had a good run around on the beach we wented into the town so the childrens could go in the arcades and everyone ate fish and chips. Mum gave me a sneaky few chips though, hehe. Doggies not be allowed in the arcades so Mum took me for a walk along the seafront. It has lots of strange loud noises and next to the road, but I was really good and didn't flinch once. Mum be so proud of me. As we were walking back Mum spotted something on the beach, she started making squeaky excited noises so I knew it be something good. Can you guess what it could be? It not really that exciting to 'normal' peoples, but for me and Mum it be really good! It was a lady with not one, not two, but THREE Shelties!! They all be tiny little Sables, one be the Mummy and the other two were her puppies. I got super excited and thought they were my dog-Mum, BOL! Mum wished she'd got her camera at that point.

The next day we had to go home :-( I really did not wants to and neither did Mum, so we said we'd go out for the day first and then go home. But that did nots go to plan, because just as we were setting off, it started to SNOW! I still wanted to go but Mum be a spoil-sport and said no. Hurrufff! I did my best barkings at her but she would not listen.

Mum says if I a good boy she might take me on another little holiday in a couple of months time. I going to be on my bestest behaviours from now on :-)
(Pee ess - all the photos should biggify... we hope. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't! Weird....)

Hol-ee-day!

Hurro!

Tomorrow I be going on my hol-ee-days! We be going to a nice cottage near the beach and lots of nice walkies so we be back on friday with lots cool piccures hopefully.

We sorry that tricky t-day be delayed AGAIN! I hads a poorly tummy since thursday (Mum thinks I ate some deer poops on the walk I posted about) so Mum stopped all my treats and I just had small meals of fish and rice, so we not really done any trainings, apart from a few tunnels in the garden cos I has my tuggy as a reward for that. Anyway, hopefully after hol-ee-days we will be back to normal :-)

Woofs!

Walks and agilities

Hurrrooo!

First of alls, tricky t-day be delayed. Mum lost her clicker on a walk at the weekend and she casnot do proper trainings without a clicker (cos she stupids, hehehe) so we not really done any trainings. She ordered 2 new clickers (one spare incase she does silly losings again!!) and they arrived today so we can start trainings again now! Woohoo.

Yesterday a big box arrived, it looked and smelled very interesting so I has to do investigatings of it. Hmmm.. what could be inside?

I was right! It be something super exciting and fun. Can you guess what it could be?! Here be a piccure of the amazing thing.

It be an agility tunnel! I've just turned 8 months old now so Mum has decided I can start doing some agilities!! For now we just doing tunnels, contacts and we're starting wing wraps too but it be oh-so exciting. I just loves it so much, we only did one small session yesterday, and I already be zooming through it with Mum sending me into it and different angles. The only times I did tunnels before is once at the agility class I use to go to, and once at a fun show that me and Mum went to.
I beed barking and the garden gate today, hoping that Mum would let me do some more agilities, but she said she be too cold hehe.

She still took me for a super-fun walk though. We was in the car for quite a long time so I knew we'd be going somewhere extra exciting. It was quite cold and foggy on the way there but I soon warmed up once I started running (ie; as soon as I got out the car!).

Of course she made me do a bit of posing... yawwwn.

My recall has beed a bit rubbish recently, (I a teenager - what does Mum expect?!) so Mum cooked some chicken this morning and brought it with us. I think chicken be my new favourite food. Mum said I was such a good boy and she was really proud of me. I came back every time she called, didn't pull on my lead, didn't try and round up the birds, and didn't run off to other doggies! I thinks I definitely deserves another Crisp Mas for being so good.

Here I be demonstrating my good recalls.

News and video!

Hurro efferypup!
It feels like I not blogged in ages, we beed so busy. The bad news is that I had to have another poperation on my eye. The first poperation didn't work, and I ended up gettings another ulcer on my eye! My eyelid was still turning in a little bit so they had to take some more skin away. They shaved a load of fur off of my face too and I look realllly stupids now! But that doesn't really matter because the most important thing be that my eye is soo much better. It's all open and Mum says it looks beautiful again.

I looks a right numpty with my face all shaved though. I decided to go for the "one ear up, one ear down" look today. What do you think?

Mum says in a couple of weeks we be going on hol-ee-day! I read all about my brother Ludo's holiday, and it looked like a lot of fun, so I hopes mine will be too! Mum says there be lots of walks around where we staying and a beach too. Woohoo! My favourite.
Annnd another good thing be that we finally figured out how to work videos! We ended up having to use Mum's old compoopter and download a funny converter thing, but we did it eventually.
I be learning a new trick using this funky cone thing:

Eventually I'll be able to stack all the rings onto the cone. The video is our first session, it all freeshaped and as you can see I already able to pick up the purple ring (3rd smallest one). We started targeting the cone thing too. I just think it's one big game! hehe. It probably take me a while to learns it because it quite a difficult trick, but when I can do it we'll post another video!

Anywayyy, here be the video. We hopes it works.

Snow!

We has more snow, but this time we has PROPER snow! We've got about 10cm (4 inches) all together, Mum says it the most she ever seen. It's sooo much fun, I love catching snow balls (it be my new favourite game) but Mum says the roads are very dangerous and she had to cancel lots of plans today. She was going to take me on a special walk to somewhere new but the roads were too scary to drive on.

Instead we went walkies around the streets and explored some new places. We were going to go on the field so I could have a run round but there were childrens everywhere and Mum said I'd just want to go and play with them, BOL!

It was actually lots of fun, normally I gets a bit bored when I have to walk round the streets but the snow made it good fun. Mum throwed lots of snowballs for me to catch and I even got to play on my front garden off my lead because Mum knew there wouldn't be any cars.

This be our street, as you can see it on quite a steep hill so driving up and down it would be scary! Mum said it was still quite hard work walking up it, because the snow's sooo deep it made her legs hurt, BOL! Mine didn't!

As you can probably see, my eye be getting better! Yesterday I wented to have my stitches out, (which was an ermm... interesting experience!). My 3rd eyelid had been stitched across my eye so I couldn't see, but nows I can see again!! I still gots a few stitches left in but they will disolve on their owns. Another thing you might of spotted from the piccures is that THERE IS NO CONE!! Woooooohooooo. I still gots to keep it on at night and when Mum can't watch me but the rest of the time I not have to wear it! Mum says I beed sooo good at not scratching my eye that she gonna take me to the magical toy shop (the one where we went on my half birthday) to pick out a new toy, when the weather be better. I be one happy puppy.
